You’re a life saver. I just had to fix a client’s site (built in Joomla 1.0) because of an upcoming server upgrade to PHP 5.3.3 and after struggling with trying to upgrade Joomla I found this post. this fix totally works and just saved me from an epic headache of a problem. Thank you!
